Registration & Program Fees

Admissions Procedures

Registration for the 2018-19 season will be accepted during the following priority windows: Window 1 - Current LSA students February 28th to March 14th. Window 2 - current Livingstone School students March 15th to March 21st. Window 3 – open registration March 22nd. Registration will be capped at 25 students Grades 4-6 and 40 students Grades 7-12. Acceptance to LSA is based upon both order of deposit and student/program fit. LSA executive/administration will conduct an intake process that will include student/family meetings for all potential new LSA students and selected returning LSA students to determine program fit.  Once the 2018/2019 registration cap has been reached, any additional registrants will remain on a waiting list until student withdrawal, or until enough additional registrations are received to fund hiring additional coaches.

Step 1 - Download and complete the Livingstone Ski Academy registration package.  

Step 2 - Submit your registration package, either electronically via email to, or in hard copy along with the $100 deposit to Livingstone School PO Box 98 215 Robinson Avenue Lundbreck, AB T0K 1H0.

Step 3 - Livingstone Ski Academy staff will review the application and arrange any required intake meetings.

Step 4 - Livingstone School will notify parents and student-athletes of their acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance, outstanding fees are due in accordance with the payment schedule below.

Tuition Fees

For the 2018/2019 school year, annual tuition fees for the program are as follows:

Grades 4 – 6                    $1200

Grades 7 – 12                 $2500

Students in grades 4 and 6 participate in a modified program schedule, participating in ski skill development 2 days/week (Tuesday & Friday) compared to 3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) for students in grades 7-12. On-hill training to take place from approximately December 14th to March 29thth.  Dry-land training and shoulder activities are included in the fees. Ski Skill training and outdoor, shoulder season activities are dependent upon weather and snow conditions at Castle Mountain Ski Resort. Additional fees are charged for students requiring a billet placement.

Tuition Fee Payments

At the time of application, there is a $ 100 deposit due that is applied to your tuition fees upon acceptance into the program. This deposit will only be refunded if your child is not accepted into the Livingstone Ski Academy or if you withdraw your application prior to acceptance. The balance is payable as follows:

1)     $100 deposit due with application (non-refundable)

2)     $500 due Sept. 1, 2018 (non-refundable)

3)     Remaining balance due Dec.1, 2018 (non-refundable)

*Alternative payment plans will need to be coordinated through the school and all cheques can be made payable to Livingstone School.
