Year End Events & Celebrations
Dear Parents/Guardians:
The 2019/2020 school year is nearing the end and I wanted to provide an update on a few things happening this month. We are still gathering information on what school will look like in the fall and we will continue to communicate updates as we receive them. Currently, Alberta Education has released three possibilities for the fall: 1) Students returning to school on a full time basis 2) Students doing a blended at school and at home learning program 3) Students continuing with on-line/at home learning. I appreciate your patience through this uncertainty and we are currently working on plans for the three potential scenarios. A Livingstone Range parent survey will be distributed in the coming days to all parents to gather further information from parents on the three scenarios described above.
With a week and a half remaining of instructional days for our students, we are working on creative ways to celebrate and conclude this school year for all of our staff/students/families. Below are a list of planned activities and reminders for the month of June.
Wednesday, June 17 Virtual Assembly @ 11:00 a.m. (link to be emailed out to all students)
Wednesday, June 17 School Council meeting @ 7:00 p.m. (open to everyone, let us know if you would like the meeting link shared with you)

Wednesday, June 24 Sabre Cruise Celebration 11:00-11:45 a.m. (drive by the school to be cheered on by staff and to say goodbye for the summer!)
Wednesday, June 24 Virtual Awards Ceremony @ 6:30 p.m. (meeting link to be shared)

As always, we encourage you to reach out to us for any support or questions you might have. I hope all of you can participate in some or our closing activities and take care.
Sincerely,
Mr. Chad Jensen
Principal
